Brian Jones

I love challenging people to think different, be courageous, and follow Jesus.

I took this picture at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall in Iceland. That’s my wife Lisa with me. We left the crowd that had stopped to take photos at a safe distance and walked up a soaked (and terrifying) unmarked path to capture this rapturous moment.

To me, that day reminds me what it looks like to follow Jesus. He’s always calling us to leave the crowds behind. Always calling us to take risks. Always calling us to sacrifice personal security and comfort to follow him to places we’ve never been.

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do,” said the poet Mary Oliver, “with your one wild and precious life?”

However you answer that question, I’d love to be one of the voices you count on to give you perspective and cheer you on.
