COFFEE/HOT CHOCOLATE/CAPPUCCINO GIVEAWAY

COFFEE, CAPPUCCINO, AND GOOD HOT CHOCOLATE are all the rage these days; so wherever the chance presents itself, bring it to people during cooler mothers. On a blustery day, you can touch hundreds of shoppers as they go into a grocery store, for example, with the simple question, “Which would you like—a coffee or a hot chocolate? It’s free!”

You need to have at least two options available: a coffee container and one for hot chocolate. A more efficient but expensive route is to purchase a coffee backpack. You can purchase 5 gallon insulated beverage containers at restaurant supply stores, and you can even go the extra mile and get a Cabela’s backpack frame to carry it on someone’s back. Outfit the nozzle with a hose extension and spigot.

Note:  Don’t set up a coffee or cappuccino giveaway near a downtown coffee business. They won’t experience much of God’s love if you’re competing for their business.

WINTER/SUMMER SURVIVAL KITS (5 or 10 per team)

WINTER CAN BE HARD ON THE BODY AND SOUL. A survival kit is a great encouragement to everyone who receives one. Create a Winter Kit that contains a packet of facial tissue, lip balm, and throat lozenges. Put the items into a zip-close style plastic bag with a connection card (4” X 6” bags can be purchased from ULINE.com and other places).

A Summer Survival Kit could include lip balm, suntan lotion, moist towelettes, hard candy, and a connection card. Try to aim for the kit cost to be around $1.
