As a church planting nerd, I follow the hashtag #Churchplanting on Twitter. Here are just a few tweets that stood out to me in the past few weeks. Check em out, follow the authors and raise your church planting lid 🙂

 

I would argue that the first 3 issues that we have to address to truly activate all the people of God involves: 1) Recapturing the missionary nature of the church; 2) Diminish the clergy-laity divide; & 3) Equip & release all the gifts of the body,

After 4 years I can say that being a bi-vocational church planter is the hardest thing I’ve ever been involved in, yet it’s also the most rewarding thing I’ve ever been privileged to be part of

 

My favorite quote from the Assessment Retreat: “I’m probably not the best leader in the room, but Jesus led by serving and I know I can serve.

 

The movement began in the book of Acts. The issue was addressed in Revelation 2&3. Both are Biblical & should be prayerfully & urgently addressed.
