Things to do just before quitting your church plant • Meet with a coach for 90 days. Once a week will be a good investment even if you don’t continue later. • Go away by yourself to fast and pray. Take water, a Bible, your clothes and yourself. If you were spiritual enough to start this thing you need to be spiritual enough to end it on the same note. • Find a partner who is also a church partner – something you should have done when you first started. • Get someone else to speak for you for at least two weeks, especially if you’ve spoken for 15 weeks in a row without a break. • You need to be evaluated by a good friend or your coach at an in-depth level.
Things to do just before starting your church plant • Prayer walk • Get your plan established clearly • Develop a team • Get a coach • Establish a team who are backing you • Establish financial backing (secure missions support)
Coffee • Pura Vida www.puravidacoffee.com. Why not combine your church’s need for high quality coffee with a great cause? This company plows all of its profits back into their ministry to orphans in El Salvador. They important raw beans from their own fields and fresh roast them in Seattle, vacuum pack them, and ship them out to your location overnight. For about the price of any other good coffee that’s out there, you can support this great cause. At our church people buy the coffee by the pound to take home for use during the week. • Peet’s Coffee www.peets.com. If you are just going for great cups of coffee Peet’s Coffee is an excellent choice. I buy it over the internet even though I can get Starbucks for free (my daughter works at Starbucks).

Communion • The simplest approach by far to sharing in the Lord’s Supper is “Communion in a Cup”. For about a dime per person you can serve both the bread and the juice in one convenient container that is sealed, transportable and easy to clean up. http://www.go2logos.com/churchgoods/ Portable church • www.portablechurch.com
